Senior Government Software Sales Executive

Job Summary:  We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Government Software Sales Executive to join our leading nationwide team and build new accounts within our national state and local government markets – specifically around our Compliance Suite.

In this sales position, your responsibility will be to call on key people within government (Managers, CIO’s, etc.) to introduce our leading-edge and innovative web and mobile technologies that will help these organizations efficiently service citizens. This is a solutions-oriented consultative sale that will involve in-depth discussions with state and local governments.

You will be supported by multiple products that are market leaders, hundreds of references and a team of professionals in our Woodridge, Illinois offices. We use a modern approach to sales and service. We connect with 30-50 prospects online or by phone daily; build relationships through online demos and webinars; and close deals by working with legal departments and buyers over the web. We then customize, implement and train using a portfolio of online technologies.

We are specifically looking for a PROVEN solution-oriented Senior Government Software Sales Executive that is comfortable with web and SaaS technologies and demonstrates a solid understanding of sales support and Microsoft tools.

Requirements:

  • College Degree

  • 4+ years of sales experience (ideally with state and local governments)
  • 3+ years of technology sales experience using phone and web-demo products

Client Relationship Specialist

Job Summary:  The Client Relationship Specialist is expected to develop a thorough understanding of the business operations and technologies that GovQA products support for government clients. This will involve comprehending CRM techniques, Economic Development strategies, Community Development processes (licensing, code enforcement, permitting, planning, zoning), and Open Records Processing rules and regulations within each state.

Responsibilities:

  • Retain our existing clients and grow our relationships with them by:
  • answering inbound contacts to efficiently resolve customer issues;
  • ensuring that the GovQA applications are working properly;
  • providing ongoing training to clients;
  • assisting clients with support, enhancement and customization requests;
  • identifying ways that GovQA can further assist our government clients.

Requirements:

  • Relevant college degree
  • Customer Support
  • 6+ years of account or customer relationship management, or software support.
  • 4+ years of providing software support, preferably with a SaaS solution.
  • Experience with web technologies (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, CSS).

Customer Account Manager

Job Summary:

The Customer Account Manager is part of a team that leads client engagement across the multiple product solutions available within the GovQA platform. The Customer Account Manager is responsible for proactively maintaining existing government accounts by ensuring that GovQA customers are actively using GovQA applications and by identifying opportunities where additional GovQA products can further assist the customer. This person will build relationships with government leaders such as managers, clerks, and CIOs within city, county, and state agencies

The Customer Account Manager is expected to develop a thorough understanding of the business operations and technologies that WebQA products support for government customers. This will involve developing knowledge of business practices across various departments of municipal and state governments.

We are seeking someone that will continuously evolve our relationships with customer contacts, lead internal team collaboration, improve overall performance and determine new opportunities, both strategically and technically, that drive customer retention.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overseeing all the aspects of providing a positive client experience: Satisfy, Retain, and Grow named customers through the adoption, training, and development of best practices
  • Owning the relationship between customers and WebQA
  • Assisting with on-boarding new clients with GovQA technology;
  • Proactively finding new ways to build the customer’s business and grow accounts;
  • Mastering and updating customers around specific government trends and law changes and how those changes will impact their use of the GovQA platform
  • Owning internal projects – develops and manages timelines to ensure campaign deliverables and projects/teams remain on track
  • Leads/supports various team members on client calls and in-person meetings
  • Assist with management of customer budget and billing process

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 6+ years of experience in Account Management or Customer Service
  • Experience with C-level officers
  • Desire to reach out to customers over phone and facile with online demonstrations
  • A high level of computer literacy and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • High-energy, competitive, and innovative team player with ability to think quickly

    Job Summary: 

    The Software Implementation Engineer is expected to develop a thorough understanding of the business operations and technologies that GovQA products support for government customers.     • Build effective working relationships with all functional areas of WebQA.

    Sales Development Specialist
    Job Summary:

    We are currently seeking a full-time Sales Development Specialist to contact state and local government officials and arrange an online demonstration of the GovQA Compliance Suite. This idea person will be able to assess government websites, navigate complex government organization and qualify government prospects for a 30-minute demonstration.

    In this role, the Sales Development Specialist will be a “consultative hunter” that is quite adept at making more than 50 contacts each day with government officials and talking with them about issues in their work environment so as to arrange an online demonstration of the GovQA Compliance Suite. Arranging demonstration may require considerable email communication and calendar coordination among parties.

    The Sales Development Specialist will be supported by multiple products that are market leaders, hundreds of references and a team of professionals in our Woodridge, Illinois offices.

    We are specifically looking for a PROVEN solution-oriented Sales Development Specialist who is comfortable with web and SaaS technologies, can pioneer new relationships over the phone, and is familiar with the latest CRM technologies.
